Asias’s New Powers – Values, Economy, World Order

The achievements of Asian people and their governments have created incredible new opportunities for the continent – and for us as well. At the same time, we face political, economic and social challenges that we can only deal with by working together. Asia’s new powers are not growing all alone, but in a time of change, they must become responsible stakeholders in the process of shaping the world’s future. We want to cooperate more closely with them to benefit from emerging opportunities and to confront common challenges. How can this be achieved on the basis of universal values?
