- Born on August 17, 1971 in Karaganda.
- In 1994 graduated from the legal department of KazGNU (Kazakhstan State National University) named after Al-Farabi, in 1998 – the Higher School of Public Administration (HSPA)under the President of RK.
- In 1995-1997 worked as an intern, Assistant, Senior Assistant of the Prosecutor of Medeu Region; student of the National HSPA (1997-1998).
- In 1998-1999 worked as a Chief Specialist of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of RK.
- In 1999-2000 worked as the Director of the Department for Registration and Control over Normative Legal Acts of Central and Local Bodies of the Ministry of Justice of RK.
- Since 2000 to 2001 – the President of “National Legal Service” CJSC under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, then up to 2002 worked in private sector.
- Since November 2002 to June 2003 – the Counselor to the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of RK.
- Since 2003 – Vice-Minister of Industry and Trade of RK.
- Since 2006 – Deputy Chairman of “Sustainable Development Fund “Kazyna” JSC.
- Since 2007 to 2008 –Director of Marketing for Financial Projects of “Credit Swiss (Kazakhstan)” LLC.
- Since February 2008 to May 2009 – Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Since May 2009 – Minister of Industry and trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Since March 2010 - Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and new technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
